The Village Of Tainn

The Entry

You open your eyes, and look at your surroundings. The swirling purple whirls of the portal have disapated, leaving you standing at the entrance of a small village. Two sentries in leather armor holding long spears gaze at you intently, as they stand guard in front of a large wooden door, united with a stone marble wall, the defense containment of the village. You take a small step towards them, and immediately they poise their weapons against an outside intruder: you.

"Halt! Who goes there? Who are you?" One guard demands of you. "You have no right of passage into Tainn. Begone with you!"

He gestures his spear, and you take a step away, holding up your hands as to show your forthrightness. You should leave - why you're here anyway, you have no idea. You start to turn, but you cannot. You Have to be here! You came here for a reason!! You know it was important. Then what was it? Putting your hands up to your head, you start to mutter, feeling confused and lost. The guards immediatly assume you're plotting their defense, possibly calling a magical spell. They start to charge, when suddenly, the massive door is opened. Out rushes a cloaked figure; man or woman, you cannot tell, for their face and figure is shrouded in the dark garments. It stops to whisper in one sentry's ear, and he immediatly pulls back his assault. The other does the same. They look at the cloaked enigma with a debatable glance, but the figure just bows once, and returns behind the village walls. One guard whispers in a hushed voice, "The Majestic!" And both bow to you ceremoniously. Startled, you raise your eyebrows and take another daring step forward. Suddenly, the giant wooden doors creak open, and the sentries step away, to let you pass. You cast an apprehensive glance at them, but they seem to rever you in a strange awe. Taking a deep breath, you walk behind the walls and into the village.
